The tournament was developed to initiate students into the art of judo, and allow them to apply all the techniques they have learned, as well as being able to meet athletes from other dojos. David E., Ian F., Andrew D., Claire D., and Charles-Antoine D., participated in this tournament for the first time. Eight competitors were able to place and secure a medal. Our students fought very hard and learned quite a bit from the experience; they also met other French-speaking judoka at the tournament. Congratulations to all the INTL judoka for proudly representing our school! ***PRIZES/PLACEMENT*** Alexandre A., 1st Charlotte A., 1st Calypso B., 2nd David E., 2nd Rafaël R., 2nd Andrew D., 2nd Claire D., 3rd Ian F., 3rd Stella K., 4th Charles-Antoine D., 4th \*In 2020, the International School of the Peninsula (ISTP) formally changed its name to Silicon Valley International School (INTL) to better reflect its bilingual programs, location, and international values. - Recent - Popular - Categories ### Lists by Topic - [Middle School (79)](https://blog.siliconvalleyinternational.org/old-blog/topic/middle-school) - [Community (66)](https://blog.siliconvalleyinternational.org/old-blog/topic/community) - [Social Emotional Learning (37)](https://blog.siliconvalleyinternational.org/old-blog/topic/social-emotional-learning) - [Culture (28)](https://blog.siliconvalleyinternational.org/old-blog/topic/culture) - [High School (19)](https://blog.siliconvalleyinternational.org/old-blog/topic/high-school) - [Inquiry Learning (12)](https://blog.siliconvalleyinternational.org/old-blog/topic/inquiry-learning) ![INTL](https://blog.siliconvalleyinternational.org/hs-fs/hubfs/crop%20INTL.jpg?width=1120&height=331&name=crop%20INTL.jpg "INTL") ### Fostering bilingual leaders with boundless futures.
