New York, New York

The CASE/NAIS conference is essential for Advancement professionals to not only continue to develop our skills in a ever-changing academic environment, but also allows us to develop a network of colleagues on whom we can call on to brainstorm or assist one another.

These few days in New York are going to be busy ones for me. This year will be my first year moderating a session at CASE/NAIS, and I'm proud to be a part of the conference in this way. Only a handful of advancement professionals are selected to speak or moderate, and it is excellent visibility for our school.

This is also the first year that all the French Schools in the country will be coming together to meet prior to the CASE/NAIS conference. Advancement Officers, Heads of School, and Trustees will be in attendance. It's an opportunity for us to learn from each other and make our school the best it can be. I'm interested in "comparing notes."

While in New York, I have plans to meet with INTL* alumni. I always look forward to meeting our alumni and listening to their stories. Even though they attended our school in their adolescence, it's obvious what an impact attending PFAS/INTL has had on their lives. I hope that when your own children graduate from INTL, their high school, and then their university of choice, that we will be able to talk about where their life has taken them.

I am very excited about this trip and can't wait to post more details about it.
